The objectives of the International Workshops are to provide the participants with an opportunity to study and discuss contemporary issues related to the crime control schemes and administration of criminal justice system. The topics to be covered in the Workshops will range from comprehensive issues concerning proper exercise of authority and achievement of procedural justice in each stage of criminal justice administration, the proper distribution of roles, to more practical and detailed problems of actual application of existing systems.

Through the International Workshops, participants are expected to be able to
1) Understand the present situation and problems concerning the above mentioned issues in each country.
2) Examine and analyze the causes of problems in the existing criminal justice system and their actual administration.
3) Seek appropriate steps to solve the problems and set up a more fair and effective criminal justice system in each country.
